As sussamb stated the proper JCV file for your Nuvi 40 is available if you download the map again. You never mentioned what country you are in. The bltadwin.ru file is for maps with FULL junction views, your Nuvi 40 uses split screen and is a much smaller file but has the same amount of junction views. Once copied inside the "Garmin" folder, rename it bltadwin.ru (the one inside the "Garmin" folder) 5.
